Ribbon Capital Credit Fund is structured to deliver private credit investment opportunities that balance both security and yield for investors, through a well-designed framework and multi-party collaboration.
The Fund operates as a structured private credit vehicle with the following key features:
Unit Trust Structure
A tax-transparent and flexible vehicle designed for risk segregation and investor alignment;
Cash Flow Distribution
Ribbon Capital, as the Fund Manager, distributes periodic interest payments to investors and returns capital upon maturity
RMBS Participation
The underlying residential mortgage loans are subsequently securitised and incorporated into bank-originated Residential Mortgage-Backed Securities (RMBS) structures. Borrowers repay principal and interest over time, and the resulting cash flows are distributed back to investors through the trust structure
Investment in Non-Bank Lenders
The Fund allocates capital to selected non-bank financial institutions (NBFIs), enabling them to activate warehouse funding facilities with Australian banks. These facilities allow for matched leverage via bank credit lines.
Through the coordinated structure of “Ribbon + Non-Bank Lender + Bank + RMBS”, the Fund achieves a high degree of risk mitigation, visibility of returns, and asset control. It is designed to serve high-net-worth and institutional investors seeking stable, fixed-income credit investment solutions in the Australian Private Credit sector.
